If you are anything like me, then you are probably scrounging around looking for a gift for the special father in your life. So here are some of my ideas of gifts that ought to be a great hit for Fathers day!
1. Barbershop Yankee Candles
Candles aren’t just for women, and Yankee has proved just that with its new eclectic Barbershop range. These candles – or ”mandles” as they’re known – have been specifically created with woody and masculine scents that are reminiscent of a traditional barbershop, with tones of aftershave, tonic and sandalwood. Pretty decently priced and I am sure that there’s a Yankee coupon online somewhere.
2. Waredaca Brewing Company
If he loves a pint, take him to see the hard work that goes into making it at a Waredaca Brewing Company in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The brewery is both family and dog friendly. For fathers day, the brewery will hold an awesome event: Hopsana @ Waredaca Father’s Day! You can bring your own food-picnic style, or purchase treats there. The event is from 12-1:30pm.
3. Frederick Keys: Sunday Funday
The weather is pretty awesome right now in Maryland so take advantage of it by spending time with dad watching a Baseball game in Frederick, Maryland. The Keys always have spectacular happening during Fathers day. This Fathers day Key 103 will be broadcasting from the ball park and you can even take advantage of Flying Dog Brewery’s National “Buy Your Dad a Beer Day” Package. This is a 2 general admissions tickets with a 16 oz. beer for dad. Got to love the deals!
